Hello, again

A whole week of silence, I know, is shameful. But, last week was crazy, and exciting, and I'll be sharing why very soon!

Anyways, here are a few snapshots from this last week, for your enjoyment.

1. My cozy bed. It is almost impossible to get out of in the morning. 

2. This girl, she loves her treats.

3. Having the pretty evening light still shining in my room at 5:30 is such a luxury. Now if only we can get some leaves on those trees and warmth in the air! I'm ready for spring (have I mentioned?).

4. Making some delicious iced coffee. I'll definitely be making more tomorrow! Nom.

5. The fluffiest of paws. 

6. Happy mirror pictures with my love. 

7. The lovely tulips making their final appearance. Very sad to see them go :(

That was a little taste of my week, get ready for a super awesome, super glittery DIY tomorrow and a happy announcement that's also a little bit glittery (but what isn't, really?)! Yay.

Morning Light.

Yesterday, my sweet fiance' surprised me with a fancy new Canon T3 camera, so, naturally, I wanted to take pictures right away (even though I have never taken a photo with a camera not attached to an iPhone). So, here is my first batch of pictures; don't look at them with too critical an eye because I'm still SO new, but enjoy them nonetheless.

1. My view when I wake up. It's no wonder I have the hardest time getting out of bed every morning./ 2.&3. The beautiful tulips I bought to convince myself it's Spring./ 4. My beloved, Asia Kitty./ 5. Martha. She always does this when I try to pet her face when she wants a belly rub./ 6. She, also, really hates getting her picture taken, so a photo where she's actually looking into the camera is a rarity./ 7. Red couch in the sunlight.

This was my morning, basically. Plenty of shots did not make the cut, but I'm excited to learn more about this awesome new camera. (Thanks, sweetheart :) )
